One-Day Millinery. Cocktail Hats
Duration: 7 hours
Times: 10am till 6pm
This class is ideal for anyone interested in making head-pieces for a special occasion. You'll be taught how to block the small base upon which to mount the decorative elements and need to come along with your choice - lace, tulle, feathers, sequins for example. Prudence will show you ways to create a stylish and professional looking hat or fascinator fit for the most stylish of occasions.

Prudence is considerably experienced having been a milliner of note for several years. She trained with some of the worlds most eminent hat makers and her work is widely regarded for its standard of quality and design. Prudence splits her time between Paris and London where she works respectively with both Yves Saint Laurent on the Rive Gauche collections and with Vivian Westwood. She also lecturers regularly, particularly in Japan.
Course Fee
£153 inc VAT.
Including refreshments. The course fee does include some very basic materials essential to hat making such as thread, wax, core materials for the base, etc but you need to bring your materials for the hat itself. If you need help or advice with this please let us know before you attend the class.
