Professional Development - One-Day Footwear Design

Class times: 10am till 6pm
Course tutor: Aki Choklat
Led by international shoe designer Aki Choklat, this design course concentrates on developing techniques to turn ideas and inspirational material into a professionally rendered, working designs. Basic art materials will be provided.
While this class may be taken independently, it works most effectively as the first part of a three-day module which also includes One-Day Footwear Production Seminar. These sessions are aimed at those planning to develop a commercial footwear collection and, taken together, cover some of the essential issues students need to consider in order to follow this path.
About Lecturer Aki Choklat:
Since he graduated ten years ago, with a masters in footwear design from the prestigious Royal College of Arts, Aki Choklat has run his own successful label which is sold worldwide by numerous fashion retailers, including Barneys, Harvey Nichols, Takashimaya and Dover Street Market.
