- Do I need any previous experience to attend?
No previous bag making knowledge is required but you do need some prior experience of using a domestic sewing machine. Reasonable sewing skills will greatly improve the end results.

- Do I need any previous experience to attend?
The class is suitable for beginners but is particularly useful for students who have already taken our Two-Day Introduction to Shoemaking course and have some hands-on experience. It's also great for anyone who's purchased a Home Study Aid and wants to move on from working with only the pattern provided.

- Are there any qualifications attached to the courses?
No recognised qualifications are available but P&M are more than willing to offer references which have proved of use to students wishing to enter into a more formal mode of study at institutions offering higher educational courses.
- How do I enrol for a class?
Bookings can be made either by telephone, via the website booking form or by visiting our office and mailing address. See contact us for more details.
- When do I pay for my booking?
Payment is required upon application, either by credit/debit card, cheque or postal order in sterling only. Applications are processed on a first come first served bases and every effort will be made to place applicants on either their first or second choice dates. Confirmation of booking will be sent either by post or email once processed.
- Can I change my mind after I have made a booking if I decide I no longer want to attend the class?
Apart from gift vouchers which are non-refundable, as long as we are given 2 weeks notice of cancellation a full refund will be given. No refunds can be issued within the two week period. See full terms and conditions.
- Will I have something to take away with me by the end of a two-day class?
Each two-day class has been designed so that students of reasonable ability are able to complete a finished article by the end of the session although it is impossible to guarantee perfect results. We do our best however to ensure that students are pleased with their creations.
- If I purchase a gift voucher do I have to indicate which course date I would like to book the recipient onto straight away?
Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months so either the purchaser or the recipient can book a date any time within the period and for a class that is scheduled to run during that time. Confirmation will then be sent to either party, as requested.
