Tutor Bio: Eelko Moorer

Born in the Netherlands, Eelko Moorer studied 3D design and shoemaking before setting up his own design studio in London. He was nominated for the prestigious Rotterdam Design Prize and enrolled in the Royal College of Art, from which he received a MA in Design Products.

Moorer runs a cross boundary design practice specialising in the design of footwear, fashion accessories, but also furniture and conceptual installations. His work has been commissioned by companies, galleries and individuals worldwide.

He has been widely exhibited internationally in paces such as The Museum Boijmans van Beuningen, The Fashion Institute of Technology New York and with the British Council and the Design Museum.
