Tutor Bio: Sara Grundy

Sara Grundy studied at London College of Fashion and was trained in Paris at Echap'Mode who made hats for Motsch, a label for Hermes. After that she had been assistant to the legendary milliner, Stephen Jones, for over four years.

Sara and Dan Sorensen, the tutor at Prescott & Mackay for the Two-day Blocked Hat course, are the millinery partnership Sorensen-Grundy. Together they make hats for film, television and theatre, including Hollywood productions and the Mamma Mia! musical for ten years. They have taught hat-making workshops at the V&A and Museum of London and have several years experience of teaching millinery, Dan at the Royal College of Art and Sara at colleges in and out of London.
